CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act) comes into effect in 2023 and contains a series of enhancements over CCPA (California Consumer Protection Act). Some additional rights include the right to correct inaccurate personal information; and the right to limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (such as genetic, race and health data). There are also new rights for consumers on knowing and opting-out of automatic decision-making tech.
